Review of the Interfaith Prayer Service

Prayer Service

The stage is set with 18 faith leaders, Mayor Nehring, Vice Chairman Parks, Dr. Becky Berg and Bishop Kirby Unti

Eighteen faith leaders were joined by Mayer Nehring, Vice Chairman Parks, Superintendent Berg and Bishop Kirby Unti for our prayer service on Tuesday, February 24th. Each person offered their prayers for healing and community in deep respect of each other as we remembered the long journey of healing after the school shooting four months before.

Thank you to every participant and faith leader who came tonight. Special thanks to the NJROTC for ushering, to the choir from Getchell High School, the Tulalip Tribes for refreshments and for Mayor Nehering, Vice Chariman Parks, Dr. Becky Berg, Superintendent of Marysville School District, and Bishop Kirby Unti of the Northwest Washington Synod, ELCA for being present tonight.
